I hope you’re liking the story so far.
It’s fun to write, yet, challenging at the same time.
Enjoy ♥

Today’s Snippet

He stood and packed up. “I am not. You have a job and a house. It seems that’s enough to make you happy and make you laugh as well. “
“One can’t survive on laughter alone.”
Once he had everything inside the basket, he carried it to the car, moved to the driver’s side, and held the door open for Hannah. “You have the computer thingy. I’m sure it’ll direct you home.”
She put on her socks and shoes before sliding behind the steering wheel. “What about you?”
He gave her a wink. “Don’t you worry about me. I’ll be fine.”
“I can’t just leave you out here in the middle of nowhere.”
“Of course you can.” And without any warning he shut the door.
Taken aback by his changed demeanour and what had happened the previous five minutes, she watched as he returned to the creek and back into the water. She shook her head at the fact that he hadn’t even bothered to take off his shoes. It was going to be so uncomfortable for him to walk back.
Walk back? What was he thinking? They were at least twenty kilometres away from Fermosa Bay. She blew out a breath, opened the door, and sauntered towards him, watching him as he tried to build a dam with the small creek rocks.
