#SnippetSunday “If you wanted to kill me…” #amwriting #mustread #PRNRomance

Happy Sunday.

Enjoy ♥

Today’s Snippet

She shot him a questioning look.
With a shrug the explained, “It’ll be the same as the photo.” But still, he reached for the belt. “However, if you insist.”
“I do.” She didn’t say thanks or anything else, because after all, it was the law. Never mind all the memories that flooded her of all the accident casualties she’d seen during her time working in the emergency department at the hospital. It still caused her the random nightmare. It’d been another reason to move to Fermosa Bay.

Worry trickled through her again because she had no idea where she was going.
“If you wanted to kill me you could’ve done that at home. I don’t think anybody would notice unless I get a call out.”
His bark of laughter echoed through her small car. ”Why would I want to do that?” Gently, he placed his hand on her arm. “You will need to ask the right questions and you’ll understand.”
“So you keep telling me,” she muttered.
