Hi everyone –

I’m continuing with another teaser from Book 3 in the Australian Sports Romance Series – Entangled Moments.
Enjoy ♥♥

This week’s Hook …

Sarah rubbed her eyes with the ball of her hand before she turned and met Markus’ eyes. “Thank you, Marky,” she said softly. “Thanks for taking me home.”

Nodding, he stepped closer, took the keys from her, and unlocked the door. “Have a good snooze, baby. And call me in the morning.”

She bit her lip as she took the keys. “I will.” Closing her eyes for a moment, she inhaled a long breath, so unfamiliar with the situation that she needed a second to refocus. Markus had often given her a lift home and dropped her off at the door, but for her to have each nerve in her body responding to his nearness was something new. Somehow, his familiar scent played havoc with her senses, and she had no idea why. She locked her knees to withstand his gaze. And before she gave it a second thought, her mouth was on his.

“What are you doing?” Markus asked against her lips, not backing away, though.

With her hands fisted in his shirt, she lifted her head to meet his gaze. “Can’t you pretend for just one night that I’m not just your friend, but more? You know more as in … sexy … attractive …”

He chuckled lightly, which she didn’t know how to read.

“Marky?”

Moving a strand of hair from her face, he replied, “Aww, baby. I don’t have to pretend, but I know we’d both regret it.”

Blurb:

Markus and Sarah’s lives couldn’t be more different…

After three years away as a goalkeeper for an English soccer club, Markus DeLeon is happy to be back in Melbourne, back with his family and friends, including Sarah. He has known her since childhood, and has often provided her with a safe place from the teasing of other children and the troubles of a broken home. Yet, events after attending their friends’ wedding set off a shift in their relationship and questions, which neither Markus nor Sarah know how to approach.

Sarah Winter caught her boyfriend cheating on her, and not for the first time Markus offers her a much-needed shoulder to cry on. This time, however, an attraction between them intensifies, ending in a passionate afternoon, and Markus doesn’t know how to handle this new side of their friendship and flees to the coast. Sarah, unsure as well about the recent events, is surprised by his sudden departure, but is soon sidetracked by misunderstandings and a family emergency.

But sometimes risking what you have means you might lose everything…
