Happy Wednesday everyone.
Hope you’ll enjoy another “hook” from “Journey to her Dreams “.
Hollie couldn’t imagine a life without Alex. They shared their happiness as well as their heartache, their love for movies, and their regular visits to the nightclubs. It was a bond for life, and many of their friends admired them for it.
“Anyway, I’ll see you later.” She disconnected the call and stood, starting the day her by joining her father downstairs for breakfast.
“Morning,” he greeted her with a cup of tea.
“Morning, Dad,” she replied as she grabbed a bowl and some cereal with milk.
“Heading out tonight?”
She sat at the table with a smile. “Yes, Dad, and, yes, I’ll be careful. What are you up to today?”
Shrugging, he sat next to her. “Helping Tom with the cattle, so I won’t be around for lunch.”
“No worries. I will have another go at the job application.”
He nodded. “You should get the job just for the efforts you put in.”
“Couldn’t agree more.”
After breakfast, Hollie decided on a walk around the property to clear her head before tackling the application. It’d been on her mind for days and once she started, she got so involved that time flew by and before she knew it, her father had prepared dinner.
Once they’d finished and cleared the kitchen, Hollie rushed upstairs, had a quick shower while considering what to wear for the night. Delaying the decision, she applied her makeup first. She never used much, but enough for her bright blue eyes to stand out. She inspected her image in the mirror and smiled, remembering her dad’s words, “You’re cute as a button.”
“What the hell is that supposed to mean, Dad?” she would ask him in a sulky voice.
There must be a reason for her dreams…
Hollie Anderson, a young woman living in Tasmania, is content with life, even more so since she has met Jeremy. However, she has been having a recurrent dream that impacts her daily life, as well as her relationship, a dream that eventually takes her on a journey to Ireland.
Samantha Shaughnessy enjoys the success as Head of Advertising for a popular magazine in the Irish capital Dublin. Married to Padraic, she thinks she loves her husband, but when she meets Hollie under unusual circumstances, she needs to face the truth–and not just about her marriage.
When both women meet and find they share an unexpected tie to the past, will they finally be able to move on into relationships with the men they love?
