I hope you’re liking the story so far.
It’s fun to write, yet, challenging at the same time.
Enjoy ♥
Today’s Snippet
Hannah shrieked at the shock as the icy water soaked through her clothes and hit her skin. Instantly, she shot up and held her dripping sleeves away from her body, about to tell him why this hadn’t been a good idea in the first place, but instead she burst into laughter. She laughed, as she reached for his arm to help him up as well, barely able to get the words, “I’m sorry,” across her lips.
He gave her one of his mischievous smiles. “You’re very welcome.”
“Pardon?” she asked as they headed towards the picnic rug.
“You’re very welcome,” he repeated.
Her laugh subsided as she stared at him, brows raised. “I don’t follow.”
“You’re very welcome for making you laugh.”

His response could be either sweet or pompous, depending on the circumstances.
I’d say the reply is sweet, and helpful as we’ll find out soon. 🙂
So great to see it the happy ending to the scene. Laughter is always the best ending.
The happier ending will hopefully be next week 😉
He’s kinda cute.
Yes he is 🙂 Thanks Aurora
These two do not communicate well, do they? But he keeps trying…enjoyed the snippet!
Nope, they don’t. Opposite opinions. But they’ll get there 😉
Another fun snippet. I love his sense of humor and joy in the simple things.
Aww, thank you PT. It’s exactly what I’ve been hoping to get across 🙂
I think he’s getting her attention in a good way. 🙂
He is indeed 🙂 Thanks Gem.
