I’ve moved on to another WIP. It’s just an idea at the moment, so bear with me for the first few posts.
“My name is Bigalow.”
With a tilt of his head, he asked, “Don’t you like it?”
She shrugged. “Unusual name for a man, or anybody for that matter.”
His mouth curved into a smile. “Have a seat,” he demanded more than said as he waved his hand.
Despite the insisting tone in his voice, there was still something close to trustworthy about him. However, not to the point that she would sat next to him. Hannah stretched forward and reached for a chair and pulled it towards her before she sat.
His smile spread across his face. “Bigalow doesn’t ring a bell?”
Pulling her forehead into a frown, she asked, “Should it? We didn’t go to the same school, did we?”
“You work a lot, don’t you?”
What a change of subject. How odd. “I do, that’s why I’d appreciate if you could leave so I can go to bed. You do have somewhere to go, don’t you?”
He let out a soft chuckle. “I’m afraid you’re stuck with me for a little while.”
Thanks for all your comments,
I do appreciate each single one of them!

I wonder if she knows him but doesn’t recognize him yet? Or maybe his name was in the news.
It does have some meaning which we will find out soon. Thanks for stopping by.
Such an intriguing story so far. I wonder why he expected his name to ring a bell? Can’t wait to read more…great snippet!
Thank you Veronica. Glad you’re still enjoying the story.
Well, that would be disconcerting to have this unexpected and unrecognized guest!

Thanks 🙂 Especially a guest you cannot get rid of 😉
That final line is certainly intriguing. Why is she stuck with him? And how long will ‘awhile’ be?
Thank you Ed. A ‘while’ is relative, isn’t it 🙂
You have me intrigued. Who is he? Does she know him? And why will she be stuck with him for awhile? Great snippet.
Thank you Karen. There’ll be more details as to why soon 😉
