#SnippetSunday “How the hell did you get in here?” #Romance #book #mustread

Happy Sunday.
I’ve moved on to another WIP. It’s just an idea at the moment, so bear with me for the first few posts.
Enjoy ♥

Today’s Snippet

They left Liz’ house in a group and chatted a little more about the storm front which was on its way as they walked to their cars. Hannah gave a quick wave goodbye as she opened the car and then slid behind the steering wheel.
“Oh Hannah,” Kerry said.
She flinched as her book friend stood next to her car suddenly.
“My apologies. I didn’t mean to startle you.” Kerry looked around before she focussed on Hannah again. “Are you still good for the BBQ on Friday?”
She had to dig deep in her memory to find the facts about the invitation when she finally remembered that Kerry had asked her to join her and some friends for a BBQ to celebrate her husband’s birthday. Kerry had been relentless so in the end Hannah had given in.
“Of course, seven-thirty at your place. I look forward to it.”
“Great. I’ll see you then,” Kerry said and walked to her own car.
Hannah settled behind the steering wheel and started the car.
“Another person who would like to play cupid?”
Hannah jumped in her seat and turned to look at the person in the passenger seat. “How the hell did you get in here?”

    1. OMG Siobhan, I can’t tell you that, that’d give away the story … LOL … Okay, but don’t tell anybody else, yes, I’m trying to create a “ghost” story. Wish me luck 😉
