Hi everyone –
I’m sharing another snippet from FRESH BEGINNINGS,
a story this is mainly set in the USA and follows our itinerary
when we travelled through five States in a motorhome a few years ago.

 Enjoy ♥♥

This week’s Hook …

“The bride is late,” he heard someone say behind him. He had a guess it was Olivia, Mia’s best friend, who was always straightforward.

But as if on cue, the doors opened, and the bride entered the church.

Natasha looked beautiful in her lace-up, white chiffon dress. It was ruched at the back and emphasised her slim figure. She’d let her black hair grow and wore it in a French twist with pearls beaded into it. A delicate tiara graced her hairstyle.

Of course, he wouldn’t have known all the details if she hadn’t told him and shown him pictures as well as sketches so he would have had an idea for the flowers. Now that she was walking down the aisle, goose bumps spread across his skin. She looked stunning, and with a grin, he leaned back, satisfied the lily bouquet looked much better than any roses would have.

Blurb:

Jared Fraser from Hobart, Australia, embarks on a journey in a motorhome down the legendary American Route 66. Yet, his travels take a couple of unexpected turns from his initial plans. One of which is meeting Ivy, a beautiful hitchhiker. As they spend time together, she captivates Jared and stirs long-dormant emotions within him.

Having recently made the difficult decision to leave her boyfriend, Ivy Bennett is determined start over and find her own happiness. When she unexpectedly crosses paths with Jared, their meeting sets off a chain of events that will test them both in unforeseen ways.

While on this journey, can they both find the strength to let go of their pasts and embrace the possibility of a fresh beginning.

    1. Aww, thank you ♥ It was such a pleasure to write the story and at the same time reminisce about the holiday.

  1. What fun, to follow your own itinerary! I’m intrigued by his responses – this isn’t someone he’s in love with, but clearly he cares and has done his best to create her floral arrangements.

    1. Thank you, Adriana. I loved travelling through the US. Wonderful experiences. This is my way of saying thanks 🙂
