Hi everyone ♥
Here’s another snippet from ALINTA BAY where it all began – DEFYING RULES, Logan’s story. All books in the series are available on KU. Book #1 is only 99c ♥
This is still from Addison’s POV.
ENJOY ♥
Today’s Snippet
Ana placed a hand on her husband’s arm, and her message to him was clear, even unspoken. Leave it be.
Addy’s lips tightened at the memories and what she’d gone through since. “We’re done.” She paused, leaned forward, and rested her arms on the table. “I’ve learnt my lesson and have moved on.” Her throat tightened, and tears pooled in her eyes as she gazed across the water, watching the waves crashing over the rocks.
“I suppose he still has his job,” her father grumbled.
“It was my choice.”
“Choice or no choice—”
“Dad,” Addison interrupted him as she met his gaze. “Look at it this way. I got to move to this beautiful place. Remember, Nan always said If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be.” Her mouth curled in a smile. “It was meant to be.”

Another great snippet.
Thank you, Suzi 🙂
Very nice, Iris.
Thank you, Jill 🙂
I got divorced in 1994. My ex-husband and I were able to salvage our friendship since we had joint custody of our son. Because we started getting along reasonably well, my mother asked if we were getting back together. My response was an adamant “Hell no!” Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
To be fair, my ex-husband never fooled me. We just fought all the time. I was under such constant stress that I was constantly clenching my teeth and eventually ended up chipping one of them.
Thanks for stopping by, Cara.
Dad is still pushing it…
Dads and their girls 😉
Thanks, Jeff.
Parents always think they know best. (Parent here. I can cop to that.) Tweeted.
Yup, parental instinct one can’t ignore 😉
Thanks, Jenna.
