“I’d love to invite you for a drink he says, but–“
I laugh. “Bad excuse.” Our good rapport is back on track.
“Where’s your seat?”
“Right at the front, next to the exit.”
“And you’re using the toilets at this end of the plane?”
“I was in need of a nice long walk.”
He chuckles, and I notice the tingles down my spine. The thought, that I have no idea where he’s seated comes to mind. “What about you?”
“Nah,” he says. “I’ve had a big walk through the airport.”
“With a gentle slap on his arm, I tell him, “Your seat.”
A smile spreads across his face, and he points to a few rows further down the aisle. Disappointed, I merely nod. I wish this plane had a little bar or a social corner.

True, planes can be so confining! Enjoying this part of her trip immensely. Great snippet.
Thank you Veronica 🙂
True. It’s a nuisance to change seats unless the plane is half empty.
Thank you Aurora 🙂
